A productive meeting was held at the Embassy between the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Japan, Mr. Farid Talibov, and Mr. Hidehiko Ishii, Representative of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (METI). The discussions covered the current landscape and positive momentum of Azerbaijan–Japan economic cooperation, as well as its future trajectory, with a particular emphasis on energy cooperation, industrial development, the green economy, investment opportunities, and regional connectivity. The exchange reflected a shared commitment to deepening bilateral economic ties, and both sides reaffirmed their strong interest in further expanding cooperation in areas of mutual benefit.
